September 17, 2009 Seminar

The executive director of ASHE, Dale Woodin, spoke to the Facility & Property Management students on September 17, 2009. ASHE stands for American Society of Healthcare Engineers. Our program has and will continue to benefit greatly from Dale’s visit. His seminar was on joint commissioning and was a well prepared presentation. He wanted to, more than anything, answer the questions of the students and for that reason he opened up the last 1/3 of the seminar to questions. The students were able to ask thoughtful questions and Mr. Woodin was more than happy to answer them. Many of the students are interested in learning more about facility management in the healthcare environment and so this was a great opportunity to have him come and open that line of communication.
