BYU FPM Teams Win 1st Place In APPA Competition.

BYU's Facility and Property Management student research teams tied for first in the 2009 Center For Facility Research (CFaR) APPA competition. The problem statement focused on meeting economic constraints in the current economy for Higher Education Facility Management. Both teams presented great arguments and excellent research. One team presented 7 key strategies, and the other created a planning model. A representative from each team will go to present their work at the 2009 APPA conference in Vancouver Canada next month. The teams: Tim Abbot, Tallon Sessions & Deven Cammick and John Mills, Spencer Salmon, & Sam Kelly. Student research competitions are a very important part of the BYU FPM extracurricular curriculum.
