Most students take this great opportunity to fill the many internships that are offered to our students. This month our students will be leaving for internships all over the country from California to New York with companies like Sodexo and the Smithsonian Institute.

For those who stay in town there is plenty of opportunity as well. Many classes are offered during these shorter semesters including:

BYU FPM Graduation

April 23rd and 24th are the Commencement and Convocation of our April Class of 2009.

Convocation takes for the Fulton College of Engineering's School of Technology in the the beautiful Provo Tabernacle.
Our program is proud to have fourteen students graduating. True to our fame our graduating class has 100% job placement. Some of the companies which have employed our students are Sodexo, Aramark, U.G.L. Unnico, GSA, private property management groups, FME and others. The graduates will be leaving to various locations in the next few months to continue growing as leaders in the professional world. As graduates they represent the values of integrity, faith, and excellence held by BYU and the Facility and Property Management Program.

Closing Social

Students gathered for the 08-09 closing social. We shared a slide show showing pictures of events throughout the year including World Work Place, past socials, association events, and the Industry Advisory Council. Our out going FPMSA president Bryan Jolly was at the grill. There was a raffle of FPM items and keeping with tradition of our yearly closing social it was accompanied by rainy weather.

It has been an exceptional year of studies with new competitions, innovative research projects, engaging coursework, and a great deal of exciting progression for Brigham Young's Facility and Property Management Program. We are looking forward to a summer of dynamic internships.

Senior Seminar 4/9

Our graduating seniors were presented at the final seminar of the 08-09 school year.

The seminar highlighted each of the seniors and then tested their knowledge in "Are you smarter than an FPM Freshman". The seniors held up very well against test questions from the FPM 110 class.
